Your child's privacy is our top priority. Here's exactly how we protect it — in plain language.
Effective date: January 1, 2026
COPPA stands for the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, a US federal law that requires websites and apps to protect the privacy of children under 13. It means services cannot collect personal information from children without verified parental consent.
Even though Lulaby is based in Indonesia, we voluntarily apply COPPA standards because we believe every child deserves strong privacy protection — regardless of where they live.
We built Lulaby from the ground up with child safety in mind. Here's what that means in practice:
✅
Children do NOT have accounts. Only parents and guardians create accounts.
✅
Child profiles contain only a first name (optional) and an age range — nothing else.
✅
No email, phone number, location, photo, or school information is ever collected from children.
✅
Parents have full control over all content created for or about their child.
✅
There is no behavioural advertising directed at children on Lulaby.
✅
Children cannot directly interact with Lulaby — everything goes through a parent.
As a parent, you are always in control. Here's what you can do at any time:
•
Create, edit, or delete child profiles from your account settings.
•
Make any book public (shareable link) or private with a single click.
•
Delete your account — which permanently and immediately removes all child profiles and books.
•
Request a copy of all data we hold about you by emailing [email protected].
If you have any questions about how we handle your child's privacy, please don't hesitate to reach out. I read every message personally.
